Backcountry Elk

Post by oef10 »

Had a blast in Idaho last week. Coverd over 50 miles in 6 days. If you ever get a chance to do this DO NOT miss the oprotunity. Here are some pics.

I put the back up arrow in this bull. He almost ran me over and I center punched him with a muzzy at 10 yards running.

Was shooting a Hoyt on the trip. Delta crushed my case and bow on the way home so I just picked up a Elite Archery bow. Its the nicest bow I have ever shot.

Nate,
That looks like fun, but I think that you need to bring that old stick and string along with that Ol' ugly Blue dog of yours back to Kentucky, and lets see how you do on those big ole swampers. I see you can hit an elk, but them swampers might run a little faster.

Good looking pictures, congrats
