I have seen this site many times. What they fail to mention is almost NONE of them believed in Jesus or a personal god. They believed in a Creator.. and I concede that it may be a possibility there is one, just not Jesus.

I don't think anyone has claimed they were better than anyone else. We claim we believe in God and that he gave his son to die on the cross for our sins and yours. If you feel that we are better than others then you got it wrong. Bible thumpers, followers yes.

Putting faith in mans beliefs has always been to me a pure way to fail....
Or maybe, it is because scientists are the ones looking at the evidence and go where it leads them. There is not one thing on this earth we cannot explain, the trees, water, gravity, motion, forces, chemistry, evolution, tides, colors, etc.... THe reason why they don't believe in myths and fairy tales is that to put it simply, they don't need to. I could say, look at the pretty trees, zeus made them and everyone would think I was nuts but if I replace it with Jesus or Allah, everyone thinks It is perfectly normal.

Or maybe the scientist trying to prove evolution are like the ones trying to prove man is heating up the planet. They have an agenda so they make the statistics to meet their goal.

You want to know what I did today while posting!
Anatomy: I gave a test over gross and fine anatomical terms and then made a song up and danced for my class so they could learn directional planes.
In chemistry: We studied the effect of enzymes on the liver in both terms of temperature and PH levels as a catalase.
In biology: we watch a video of the 100 greatest scientific discoveries in biology presented by Bill Nye,
Physical science: we built tin foil boats and tested buoyancy when we added pennies to them to see which one floated the longest.
Also, my state test scores for my students WAY outperform the rest of the state in comparison. That is a Fact. What did you do today??

I tried to go into officer school after my under grad degree but couldn't get passed MEPS. Why? Because I got SHOT IN THE FACE WHEN I WAS 14 and stabbed in the knee cap when I was 17. I have to have MRI's every 5 years to make sure the bullet fragments are not shifting. I can post a MRI pic with my name and birthday on it if you don't believe me. I am 32 years old. I have been into more fights than probably most people on this board and I have won about as many as I have lost. Not pretending to be a badass because I'm not but I was in the third largest gang in Nevada until I woke up and changed my life. I grew up in the dirt poor shitiest projects in Vegas so the next time you feel like lecturing me about bein tough or not, why don't you just stfu. Life ain't about provin your a man by fighint, its what you do with your words and actions that speak a hell of a lot louder than your fists.

What in this statement leads you to believe I am pro war? Here is my first post about this... YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING...

Don't care really if it is only bombs. We need the practice anyways if nothing more than to just kick Russia in the nads and knock Putin down a bit.

The problem is that I would not risk an American life for 25k other lives. I am sorry they used nerve agent Sarin against their citizens and that it is a terrible way to go but god dang it, after being lied too hundreds of times in the last two wars and losing trillions in the process, I can't stomach another war. We have people begging for work here and our servicemen need a break from the hell they already went through.

I wish we would cut all aid to the rest of the world and let them kill each other off and if someone attacks us blindsided or otherwise, nukes are a pretty good first option.
