only a truly lost and lonely person would trample others beliefs ecspecialy when they will change their own so easily

i believe in evolution but i also believe theres something more

and as far as sciece goes they find they make mistakes all the time and yes theres lot of science that proves theres not a god but there are also scientific studies that science is yet to explain havnt you ever read a dan brown novel i know u have lol

and by no means am i a good cristian but i know/related to quite a few so stop crying yourself to sleep and stop preaching to those who dont want your teachings they and god will forgive you

Most of what gets discussed has already been discussed many times. Sometimes a different topic is refreshing.

I believe in absolute truth, sometimes I have it sometimes I don't. Opinions are only valuable if they contain truth. Aumoralism is the biggest lie that liberal educators have ever spued.

Main reason people's views are screwed up is because they listen to people's opinions that lack truth. Be careful what you fill your mind with or you very well may end up with worthless views and opinions.

Daily Bible reading is great way the recalibrate all the lies this world fills us with everyday.

Bev wrote:There is zero proof that man evolved from primordial ooze. There is simply no science that supports evolution. But I do think we're getting closer to finding the missing link.

Bev- There is thousands of things that prove evolution... DNA being the primary one and intermediate species being another. Have you read any of Darwins stuff? Evolution is a fact. We have models of how humans evolved and are even locking down the exact species. We have fossil records of when and how things changed over millions of years. My basic biology gives a pretty good account of evolution and the myths surrounding it. It is by Miller and Levine called Biology.

I think what you are confused about is abiogenesis.. That is the theory that we came from some sort of primordial soup. Which as of now, has not been proven although we are getting closer and closer everyday. We can prove life evolves beyond a showdown of a doubt but we cannot prove where and how it started.

But just because you can't prove something yet doesn't always make it false. I have more proof that evolution exists in fossils and things you can see and touch than the existence of God and yet everyone seems to take that one as gospel (excuse the pun) just because mom and dad said it was true. Christianity is the god of the gaps. Every time science proves a part of the bible wrong it has to be adapted, pretty soon, there will be nothing that needs adapted too.

Even this Wikipedia article gives proof for evolution beyond what a reasonable person would need to see the truth.

So if man came from apes? Why are there still Apes? In my eyes you have drifted too far from shore.

Short answer: Humans did not evolve from present-day apes. Rather, humans and apes share a common ancestor that gave rise to both. This common ancestor, although not identical to modern apes, was almost certainly more apelike than humanlike in appearance and behavior. At some point -- scientists estimate that between 5 and 8 million years ago -- this species diverged into two distinct lineages, one of which were the hominids, or humanlike species, and the other ultimately evolved into the African great ape species living today. This process happened because of the changing landscapes they had spread out to and through genetic mutations.

Here is some really short easy to read paragraphs about it that may answer your questions.

Putting faith in mans beliefs has always been to me a pure way to fail....

I am fearful of God and will take the chance that his bible, inspired by him, will lead me to eternal life. If I am wrong then I still have chosen a life that will allow me to function as a productive citizen and Christian. If I choose not believe in a true maker, God, then I am afraid to think there is nothing after death or WORSE, a punishment for that as described. Hell exists just as Heaven does and I am scared of the punishment of Hell. I will take my chances, for lack of better terms, in believing the bible and living New Testament Christianity.

I don't see how ANYONE can look at he intritcate parts of this whole world and not know that it had a maker, a higher being, a God... All societies, from the dawn of time, when the earth was formed by God had rules and regulations, PEOPLE chose just to not believe and follow those. The earth is NO more corrupt now than it was then, we just have social media to stream it into all our minds at the click of a button.

This is far off topic, but many things said here disturb me. They trouble my little mind, as the ones that "seem" to have the answers(Scientists) are the least likely to understand or believe the bible. I pray they find there salvation as do other sinners, myself I am a sinner, just forgiven. We all fall short and the bible specifically says we are to have mercy on those that fall short. I believe that in all cases......

I pray for people that don't believe, I have them in my own family. Tough scenario, but I continue to pray to God, I just don't understand why folks would put faith in science, not judging, just questioning why it is so hard to believe in God allowing evil to coexist with good when WE are free moral agents.... Syrians need God as much as any of the rest us do.

Or maybe, it is because scientists are the ones looking at the evidence and go where it leads them. There is not one thing on this earth we cannot explain, the trees, water, gravity, motion, forces, chemistry, evolution, tides, colors, etc.... THe reason why they don't believe in myths and fairy tales is that to put it simply, they don't need to. I could say, look at the pretty trees, zeus made them and everyone would think I was nuts but if I replace it with Jesus or Allah, everyone thinks It is perfectly normal.

Not to insult or be a smart mouth.

We can explain them because God gave us a unique brain to decipher and resolve.... our downfall as well in many cases.

Take care.
