PKC Reintroduces "Large Pack" Events

Post by r d carnegie »

We have dedicated a great deal of time lately to restructuring our Large Pack Format, and I am pleased to announce to our membership that we are ready to present our restructured format to the general public! Below are the revised rules, policies, procedures, and awards charts. Please review the documents and let me know your thoughts on the “renovated program”; I welcome your input.

Any club interested in hosting PKC Large Pack events may do so beginning September 1, 2013. If you are a currently charted PKC club, there will be no additional cost to your club! If your club is not chartered with us, you may schedule large pack events from September 1, 2013 through the end of the year (12/31/13) for a minimum fee of $30. All clubs will be permitted to hold only one (1) event per month, and that event must be at least 150 miles from any other sanctioned PKC event.

If your hound is not PKC registered with PKC, you may register him or her during the months of July and August 2013 for a minimal fee of $12. Membership fees are $25 per year per member, and kennel memberships are $15 each. Dogs must be registered and owners and handlers must be members of PKC for awards to be recorded for the dog. All memberships paid automatically include a one-year subscription to RABBIT HUNTER, the official publication of the PKC Beagle Division.

Again, please review our format outlined below and let me know your thoughts, both positive and negative. We believe this format will take PKC and “beagling” in general to a higher level in a very short time!

 No, it's not the H&H rules. Looks we posted the wrong set of rules, we'll get this corrected ASAP.
Thanks

Looks very similar to the rules for foxhound field trials.
