Re: FESCUE
There are many types of fescues, the ones you see on the bags of grass seed the turf type tall fescues . My 4 acres of lawn consists of a combinaton of Falcon III tall fescue, Conquest tall fescue, and BE9301A tall fescue. This mixture is marketed as Triathalawn. Rabbits do not eat these varieties of fescues. They mostly eat the clovers that also grow in the lawn.
The wild fescues are a shorter variety and rabbits ususlly don't mess with these either.
Sorry for the long explanation, I hope this helps.

Re: FESCUE
Fescue is very popular for lawns and pasture, but is a bain to small game.It gets so thick and will crowd out more desirable vegatation for rabbits and quail. It thatches too thick for the small animals to be able to move around in it too.Worst thing that ever happened to small game around here.

Re: FESCUE
Agree. Fescue is detrimental to wildlife, especially rabbits and quail.
