Got 470,000 on my 1996 GMC seat behind 4wd PU and still runs great and looks real good. Would drive it anywhere. GMC for me!

next year ford is coming out with heated tail gates, so the owners can keep them hands warm when there pushing them!!!

Re: 2006 Ford f-150 Flaming fords.
Had a 2002 with less that 3000 miles that burned up. Long story short I had to give Ford $9000 to walk away. Wasn't going to pay but it was destroying my credit. Never buy a Ford again and that was my 4th new one

Is it only the f-150's ? I have not had good luck with the 2 fords I had. A Bronco and an old f 150. Both needed trannys.

It's the price you pay to be
First On Race Day
I've only had one vehicle self ignite and it was a 85'' Chevy pickup. I've got a 12' F150 w/ Ecoboost that is the best truck I've ever driven and I've had plenty of Yoters and GM's...........the last 2 have been Ford and I wouldn't have traded either of them for a GM or Toy

I've got an 02 150 has 200,000 on it and still going strong and out running some newer gm trucks that some of my friends messed up and bought. A guy I work with has a 97 with a little over 500,000 on it. Couldn't run fast enough to give me anything other than a FORD.

If you own one of these trucks I was told you could disc the CC under the hood and get it to a dealer asap. They are suppose to fix the problem for free.

I've owned 3 F-150's in the last 34 years. All ran long with no major problems. Been driving a 97 for the past 15 years. 230,000 miles and still going strong. Saw a sticker on the back of a Ford the other day "Built Ford tough, with out your tax dollars" Bout says it all right there!

They was just trying to save the buyers some money so they would have it later on down the line to fix all the problems!!hogbody wrote:I've owned 3 F-150's in the last 34 years.
