diamond plate dog box cleaning
trying to clean the winter mud, grime slop off the dog trailer.....any one got a any easy cleaning ideas for diamond plate,,..??

I washed mine with dawn dish washing liquid like u would your vehicle it helped a lot then I threw a coat of mothers polish on to top it off little bit of work but looked brand new

If you want to remove the oxidation Purple Polish is the stuff. I used in on my diamond plate tool box and it did the trick. Depending on the type of diamond plate it could take a lot of elbow grease also.

Done detail work for years. The easiest way to clean aluminum is with an acid based wheel cleaner and a soft brush. Follow with a wash and wax soap. Will make it look new and it is just about effortless

Phosphoric acid is what they use to clean aluminum. Its the same stuff used to remove rust off of iron, but not as concentrate. You'll find it if you google it.
