As it should be that I can agree with. I am aware that it is up to the judges discretion in large pack. I would call a deer chase pretty disruptive, it wouldn't be acceptable if hunting and you wouldn't reward them either. Maybe reward them with some electricity.

You tried to avoid it but you didn't avoid it. You started out saying 20 of the dogs should be shot, and the judges failed to remove the faulty dogs. You just insulted 50% of the people in two sentences. I'm not saying there isn't truth in what your saying, but if your man enough to call people out then be man enough to accept the consequences without having a pitty party. Im sure your old enough to realize not everyone in this world is going to like you and some may even hate you......thats life. Not everyone is "Fake" and not everyone hates you but with your style Im sure some do.

If you want to get your dogs broke and come out and try again Im sure there will be several that would like to meet you and Im sure there are some that wish you would stay home. Don't let that influence your decision.

I started the thread because of all the hype you created leading up to it. You like to stir the pot, then when things heat up you get irritated. Nothing wrong with stirring the pot, just remember its a chat board and there will be differing opinions.

But if the guys back out on buying them dogs let me know. There is guys down this way that run beagles on deer if they will not quit I am sure they would be interested in what you have. There is a lot of pasture land down this way so it helps if a dog can leap over a fence in a single bound.

I was talking to one of the idiots by the fire that was at the trial, and he said " there was a guy from below the bridge that was the biggest bull******* I've ever seen". Heard one of your quotes was that you run your dogs 9 hrs a day, 7 days a week, but you had the heaviest dogs there. Just because the dogs may not of circled the hare, doesn't mean the judges didn't see the hare and scored the dogs that were starting and running it before other dogs interfered. It was below zero. Like someone said, these nmha trials are not weather permitting. Also, dogs that placed were not with yours on outside of fence. Jmho

We invited chap as a friendly invitation. We were trying to get him hook to field trial. I think my dog did worst than tank, a no show is a lost to me. Tank show up and gave a show. I accepted my lost, chapko won clearly. Tank is a true internet legend that will never be forget. The whole world should give the guy some credits. I am done with this topic hunts an running with others I dont no. I cant affored being sued for being honest. I just a poor man living a simple life that enjoys his hound an rather u guys think so or not I no what I am feeding.

Chappy, I wouldn't be the least bit concerned about being sued for slander or libel and the phone calls could threaten all they want. Those making them would have a very hard time in proving slander with what you have spoken and in libel with what you have written. Everyone is entitled to their opinion as that is exactly what ALL these debates consist of when it comes to these dogs. By the way, wasn't this about the dogs and what ones were best? If one was to file a tort claim of slander or libel they would have the burden of proof. They would have to proove that (1) what was stated and or written was FALSE (2) that the result of those specific things caused harm and (3) that the things spoken or written were done so without adequate research into the truthfullness of the statements.
Although I may not agree with the methods or the means, a person is entitled to their opinion and has the right to freedom of speech. This debate has been about whose DOG was better than another and the test was to put them in this trial. Beings only one of the two challangers showed up, the one that did described what they personally witnessed at the trial. Maybe the results of their research (attending said trial) were not totally as others may have seen it, they were in FACT not false and the attendees dog was even a culprit which has also been openly admitted to. This original bantering or the results of the test of betterness (trial) has made not a single difference in my perception of the line I have always had in my kennels. A title printed upon a piece of paper does not define a dogs worth but rather the dog defines the worth of the title whether printed on a piece of paper or not!

I think we're talking about deer season. I don't know about Michigan, but the season is over in Pa.
