Now thats a tailgate full that I don't mind looking at. Looks like those Walkers are soooo leggy you could saddle one up and save the snow maching gas! The black and tan ain't no midget either. Do these hounds open good on track as I bet they sound like fog horns comong through the woods?

Re: Few yote pictures
We have tried running dog but they don't seem to turn out for us. The ones I have tried lacked nose or didn't have a good mouth. I just like the tree dogs. Usually as pups I will start them on cage coon. Something that is a little slower pace and a way to get some independence. Then the fox pen a couple of times then the wild. Give me the options to run on bobcats or try to run bear.bigdogpace wrote:just asking to know good job by the way why use tree dogs over running walkers triggs or julys goodmans or something of the running variety u have some nice looking hounds. they r beautiful.

Re: Few yote pictures
The only time we free cast them is in the super after we locate them with a locator. There not enough coyotes to cast any where. With snow on the ground we find a track and turn a cold nose jump dog down to cold trail and jump him then it time to turn out the monsters.

Re: Few yote pictures
The young dogs get ran after dark all winter long by there self. After dark the track is usually only a hour or two old and they have no problem getting caught back up and learning to run track by there self. Just what works for us.
