Good Hunting weather!

Post by windy hollow »

I went hunting with a friend of mine two weeks ago We went to his hunting spot using my hounds and after killing only four rabbits and missing about the same amount, my friend told me he and anouther beagler from his neighborhood, hunted only two days before and didnt get even one chase.

Seems I just came off another web site and seen this same post...Maybe the scenting conditions you had were better then a day to two ago... That happens.. the same thing may happen to you before the years over...I'm glad you had a good hunt anyway...

Nice photo Windy! Looks like ya`ll had a good hunt. :)

I will also second what Georgia Beagler said too. I have seen days where a rabbit could not hardly be found, then go back a few days later and have some awesome running. I dont know if it's the weather, barometric pressure or what that causes some rabbits to stay at the hole or stump piles and other days they are roaming the briars. If anyone could ever prove why they act this way I'd love to see their results! ;)
