I got the Dan's Brush Buster Pants and the Briar Boss coat for xmas...
I am pretty sure these could withstand the apocalypse... I can finally crash through brush to get my rabbits without needing a level 3 trauma center for my wounds.
In all seriousness I am pretty impressed with them. The coat is warm, seems durable so far and is pretty light weight with good pockets. Other than not having an inside pocket, the coat is amazing anf the canvas pants are thick and tough.
God isn't real, Beer is good and people are crazy, there I fixed it.
I bought the overalls and I have no complaints so far. I was really surprised at how well they do against briars..The material doesn't feel as tough as some of the briar pants that I have had, but no scratches yet, I don't think a briar could get through them anywhere.
Im in my 3rd rabbit season on a pair of Dans bibs and they are holding up well. Gonna have to get me a jacket now as my arms look like they went through a windshield. The briars are so thick down here, if you trip while busting through them, you dont even fall all the way to the ground, you just lean over a little.
I got a pair of Dans bibs for Xmas also and they are getting trashed! Not sure what style they are, prob. just the regular bibs. Not very good quality IMO, but lightweight & OK for hunting when it's warm & the briars aren't too bad. Mules are tough as nails but too hot unless it's real cold. Wicks were the best!
