This is a 4 month old female, fist time out ran on the 4-5 race. 2nd time out ran on about half the races, that was this past saturday we killed 9. This pup my old female and a friends pup split raced one all the way back to the gun. She was ahead of a year old pup and was doing it right. I couldn't be more pleased! One whole side of her face was bloody from a ear tore up, never quit!

What is the bitch that pup is out of? A buddy has two about that age that I am about to start. If they are that good, I may keep them for a while, until he forgets, then switch pups when I give them back. ;)

Most Butkus pups start early and pretty quick. My 2 males were circling rabbits on there own at 5 months.

I have a few off of Butkus and it don't get any better than a Butkus pup and if he was still being offered to the public for stud you would not find a better guy to deal with then Tim Ogrady.
duckbuster where did you get that female from

Newt,

I believe your buddy does have a littermate to that one(hanging fromt the rabbit, LOL) and I have a littermate to the other female he has as well. Johnny is your friend?
The blue male I saw go nuts yesterday is also a littermate to the one hanging in the pic!! lol. He is a rabbit NUT!! Fun to watch them scream on one at that age.

I had the second female of Johnny's at my house(Fox Creek Dam on her), until Tim picked her up. Really nice little pup!

I like mine, they may not suit all, but if you like a well rounded dog with medium to upper medium speed they are pretty darn nice!

I got mine from Tim. Other side goes back to Junie I think the papers are at home and I'm at work. But man I tell ya I have yet to have a better and faster starting pup. She demolished a tame rabbit with in 30-45 sec on the 3rd day I had her. She is head down chop mouth and it's funny to say but she uses her mouth right. My last female out if him was easy starting but this one has just taken to it like a duck to water. Even all my friends have been shocked. If that stock of dog was closer they would have some too. They all thought I was crazy for paying n what I paid for the first puppy and getting her from so far. I like this stock of dog, I had planned to build my kennel around my last female out of him. Well she was stolen before she was old enough to raise a litter.

As far as Tim goes, in my book you could not ask for a better guy.

Your pup is out of a Jasper female. She has some Logan Elm stuff on the bottom her bottom side as well.

I have hunted with your pups mother and she is as hard a hunting dog as you will ever see. JUMP DOG for sure.

Dink(your pups mother) is one of the prettiest redticks you will ever see!!

The blue male that is a littermate to yours is a maniac after a rabbit in the puppy pen. Running with his nose and a big squall and chop mouth. He would blow right thru the small brush piles in the pen and keep hammering. He was fun to watch!

Best of Luck with yours!!!! I am already on the list for when the cross is made again! :D
