Inaugural

Post by bucks better beagles »

Can we all agree that the inaugural ceremonies have thus far been a grand and simple event? I am very proud of what this country stands for. Even teared up a couple times.

I almost teared up when I found out that the most transparent administration still has folks believing.

"In 2009, Obama insisted on unprecedented openness surrounding details of who funded his inauguration, and refused to accept money from corporate donors - much to the delight of the liberal left."
In 2013, he's disappointed liberals by accepting corporate donations - and frustrated journalists by concealing details of who made donations."

The transparency will take place when we see who gets taxpayers money over the next four years.
FORWARD!

Woody, I don't know what this symbol means ( :moon: ) but it must have something to do with your lack of regard for your countries president or lack of words. :( I stand by my post, they are a great family and I am proud of them.

Thank-you Jamie.

On a positive note, maybe the nation is awaking. They didn't seem to share your worhip of Dear Leader and his family.

Metro hasn't said where Monday's total falls on its list of all-time high ridership. But the day doesn't even make it into the top 20, which includes days when there were Washington Nationals home baseball games, the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival and the state funeral for President Ronald Reagan. More than 830,000 people rode trains on each of those days.

Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says Monday's total is about 50,000 more than an average weekday and three to four times greater than ridership on other holidays.

Newt, of course you wouldn't believe the NPS but they set the number at between 800,000 and 1,000,000. This eclipses Reagan and all other second term presidents. You know which president drew the next largest number of participants? Oh yea, somebody named Obama in his first term.

Toby and Bmgreen: to call the POTUS a terrorist just defies any kind of rejoinder. Must make sense to a lot of you though, since no one else commented.
