That's too bad Ron. I never saw the dog run but I know you and a lot of other guys always thought a lot of him.

I didn't think it would be long. Dick and I talked last weekend and said he was off his feed and didn't look good. I hate to hear it. He was a rabbit dog that produced rabbit dogs. RIP TYKE

Sorry to hear about this. Obviously a very nice hound and a very good reproducer.

Had the pleasure to run with Tyke several times. Never seen a dog beat him for the day, including several licensed trials. Special dog that did it right....

This saddens me greatly to hear Dick had to put him down. I know he as well as yourself was very very fond of Tyke as was I. I'm sadden even more so that I didn't breed to Tyke. Tyke in my opinion was one of the top five little males to run in Midwest in the last 15 years. Hell of a dog.

Ron and Dick, Sorry for you loss. he was a great dog! and I fortunate to hunt over him several times, and even more blessed to have a great offspring of him. it's hard to see dogs get old. I often wonder how many more years chili will be able to hunt and perform and bring pleasure to myself as well as others. I truely dread that day. :(
