Re: HOT SPOTS
Put in new bedding recently?
This time of year many are changing and some can cause hot spots. Try little kerosene in with old, old, old thick motor oil. Put on each spot.

Re: HOT SPOTS
Something is causing it.
Is she allergic to the straw and the chemicals used to grow it?
Has she been on it before with no problems?
How about feed. Changed lately to one with a higher protein?
Running grounds? anything just fertilized, cut, or treated in any way?
Anything sprouting this time of year in your area?
Just coming in heat or out of heat?
New above aground kennel with treated lumber/
Just trying to jog your memory about things I have personally seen cause hot spots.
No matter, the motor oil will help. Putting a little Natural Apple Cider Vinegar in her water will too.

Re: HOT SPOTS
Try bathing her in Oatmeal Baby Shampoo (for human babies) and add some Tea Tree Oil to it (in the human vitamin section). Then give her two Vitamin E capsules (in the human vitamin section) with her food each day. This has worked for us every time with hot spots, fungus & allergies. Repeat the bath in a week. She should be better in about 2 weeks.
