thanks guys I am glad you enjoyed the short little video of my leah. I'm proud to own such a hound. I never taught her she's done this at a very early age. I"m amazed every time she does it and she'll only bring them to me and for the most part will drop them at my feet. Dont know if i'll ever own such a hound in my lifetime again. i'm enjoying her while I can.

Having a retriever along makes the hunt so much more enjoyable. I have one that consistently retrieves the problem is I have two that like to eat the rabbit....and I usually am rushing to beat these two to the rabbit.

Grrrr I hate when that happens. i have that trouble too. if they'd just leave leah alone there wouldnt be a problem. sometimes the other hounds will get ahold of the rabbit and a tug-o-war begins. I hate that!

Joey,

How much do you charge to train a dog like that? My female has brought a couple to me, but if another dog wants to tug, she is just as happy to tug back and shred the rabbit......

Nice video!

I don't understand why this is a big deal. I have had beagles retrieve rabbits before. Its not that uncommon. I think the only reason you post these things is for attention. You feel so good when people want to know about your hounds and how you trained them. It makes you feel like the next great beagler. I have read alot of your post and to be honest its all about you. I have hardly ever seen you post on someones topic and try to hepl them out or say good hunt but you love to hear that about yourself.

Hey Bullcock,(another name for a Rooster) ;)

I see you negatively bashing everyone. Why? Joey is a good guy and shares his success. I enjoy others success more than my own, obviously you do not. Most people on here enjoy his videos and I am one of them. He has very nice hounds, places to hunt, and puts together nice videos for others to enjoy. He is not on here saying negative things as you are.

Folks like you turn off a lot of members and I just call it like I see.....sorry folks for my rant, long week!!!
