Im bettin you would , still here arent ya . I have forgot more about deerhunting than you will ever know . Dogs runnin through didnt have anything to do with that buck laying back down did it . I forgot , you know why he stood up and moved over and layed back down , even though you were not there either. because you know everything , my bad . dont even compare those rats with short tails you have over there with real deer because they are not. they are no more than some mutant strain of inbreed deer , dont act like real deer , dont look like real deer . nothing about them is the same . the reason for that is people like you arent smart enough to kill them on a regular basis , thats why you guys are over run with them . states not smart enough to manage them either

I can't speak for GW but sexual innuendo is a first for me. Never could understand why people run their mouths and when they are called on it, the first thing they have to say is to attack personally. Hold your fire, Dog. I am going to run dogs and will be back in a few hours.

Buck, you may be on to something, I have seen many cases where two guys have pretended to be at odds and the next thing you know they are talking about getting married!

I could deny calling some people idiots in private conversations as there is no proof of it, but being an honest man. I am sure I have sent e- mails and perhaps PM's calling some people idiots. Boy, there is a thought that has never entered anyone's mind! But for some to lie and say I called all folks idiots, that is just that another lie. ( I believe the person making these allegations was called an idiot by me,along with a couple of his friends, you can decide for yourself if I was out of line on this) This is the type of response if one feels necessary to say should be done so privately as I have done. But to call people openly on a forum crybabies, bitches, stupid , low lifes and the such would not be tolerated if most of us do it. ( I understand isolated instances!) Perhaps Bev. and the moderators are not listening in. I sure hope it isn't my fault for making the little feller do it. buck, sorry about the marriage thing it wasn't in good context. but two guys here who were at odds with each other and were actually fueding all of a sudden are the best of friends and are planning on marrying. I don't care one way or the other but thought it was odd with them being mortal enemies for quite some time!

In my search of the Michigan laws on trespassing I see that the law is pretty much the same as it is here in Indiana. I don't know about a game warden having such authority as I never found that printed but I suspect it is similar to Indiana's in that the only time a game warden has such authority is when they have reason to believe game laws are being broken. Retrieving a dog or downed game on private property hasn't anything to do with violating a game law but rather civil law for trespassing. Below is the citing from the Michigan rules book. Landowner here in Indiana may also grant vebal permission but if you are stopped by a game warden he will probably go to the land owner to find out especially if a violation has been committed.

Recreational Trespass
Trespassing is illegal and seriously erodes support for recreational
hunting. Permission is required from the landowner or leaseholder
before you may hunt on any farm lands or connected woodlots or on
any posted private land. Landowners may grant verbal permission.
Hunters are required to produce their hunting license to landowners
upon request.
If you wound an animal or bird and it runs or flies onto private
property, you have no legal right to pursue it without permission
of the landowner. Without permission of the landowner, you are
trespassing and subject to prosecution

glad someone read what i wrote , a dog running rabbits across the property line is one thing , someone turning a deer dog loose on my property for the sole purpose of " Getting even " because i was willing to spend money on what i enjoy doing is another , thank you

gwyoung wrote:nchunter102. good accurate post. It always amazed me as how deer hunters ( I am one by the way) will get all upset about other hunters or dogs on their property chasing all of the game away, Will hold a large deer drive to stir the game up and increase their chances. wardog, another good post with sound advice. here in west Virginia, ( states do differ) the dogs can't read and the hunters who can do not have to read it to them. it is not a violation in the course of the chase or for your dog to stray onto the lands of another. While you cannot go onto a landowners property he must turn the dogs over to you or make them available to you. If he so much as removes their collar he is in violation of the law and will be prosecuted ( if your dogs cause damage though you are liable for it, as one should be) Little woody, you got some interesting info on ole buck or are you saying Buck Allen goes by Buck Allen on the rabbitdogs.net board . if so he should be hung for pulling such a stunt! You seem to be saying he also goes by crittergitter.
BBB knows who buck Allen is just stirring the pot .
