hello everyone new member who needs info.

im wanting to get into some field trials next spring ive got four dogs one is a two year old akc. female and two 6 month old male pups that will flat put a rabbit on the move and a 4 month old female pup that is just starting but none of my young dogs are regestered what could i do to get them regestered for the hunts?
its not bragging if you can back it up

thanks windy for the link but can i register a pup thru akc that is not registered dont know if i can start the pedigree with these pups or if i hafta have background on them?? they are not registered at all now but im wanting to register them my brother told me to do it thru nkc but im new to this beagle stuff so any info on how to go about this is very helpfull

all you need to do in nkc is go to a hunt and let the breed inspector look at your dog and you can run that day.

You can register them through ARHA, NKC, UKC, and CKC but not AKC. Most will let you send in a picture along with the registration application so that they can inspect it prior to appoving it.
So that does limit how you can trial them but you will only miss out on the AKC events. Depending on where you live and how far you are willing to travel you can find trials of the others.
