For wheels I always liked eagle one never dull. It is a wadding polish that is a lot easier to use and not as messy as mothers.

i looked at the sharkhide online a few minutes ago.. it says it leaves your aluminum an offwhite color.. not sure i want that to happen.. ive been scrubbing for a few days on my box for my trailer with brilo pads and turtle wax cleaner and its not looking good at all.. im going at lunch today for some acid cleaner... and then ill work on the shine later..

I'd venture to say that if you scrubbed it with a brillo pad then you have scratched the heck out of the surface and acid cleaner wont repair that. I think that Mothers does a good job but requires way too much elbo grease. The cleaners work well but from what I have experienced they tend to dull the finish a bit.JMHO

it wasnt an actual brilo brand pad but one of the dish pads my wife uses.. its not the wire stuff like an actual brilo pad.. this was not as abrassive... my bad.. should of been more specific.. i knew better then to use a wire pad..
