John Kasich and his suppressionist party lose "another" voter suppression battle. You right wingers need to read the Judges decision carefully.

COLUMBUS — A federal appeals court has reinstated in-person early voting in battleground Ohio on the final three days before Election Day, returning discretion to local boards of elections.
A panel of the 6th U.S. Court of Appeals in Cincinnati ruled Friday in a case targeting a state law that ends early voting for most residents on the Friday evening before a Tuesday election. The appellate court judges described as "worrisome" a scenario in which "states were permitted to pick and choose among groups of similarly situated voters to dole out special voting privileges. Partisan state legislatures could give extra early voting time to groups that traditionally support the party in power and impose corresponding burdens on the other party’s core constituents."

Re: Right wing suppressionist dealt another blow.
Can you explain to me why anyone, other than military and individuals overseas, needs an additional 2 days to get off their arse and vote! Seems to me this could easily become an avenue for more voter fraud! Who exactly are these “Right Wing Suppressionists”and who are they attempting to suppress?! I suspect Obama sees the writing on the wall. When he was elected 25% fewer republicans voted than in 04’ if that 25% had shown up we would have President McCain! Obama knows this 25% will not stay home this election! Maybe, that is why he seemed so disinterested in debating Romney! He has visions of retiring in Hawaii in his head!!

To answer your question, In this case the suppressionist are Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Secretary of State Joh Husted. If you read the Justices decision (above) you will see that they ( republicans) did not attempt to end early voting state wide, but rather tried to pick and choose which districts had it and which didn't. Pretty simple tactic , end it in historically democratic areas, and keep it in historically republican voting districts. That sir is "voter suppression", and an attempt by the right wing to rig and election. Fortunately the Appeals court Justices saw thru this tactic , and blocked it.
the purpose of early voting in a nutshell is to give every voter an optimum opportunity to vote, which is the right of every American. It appears from your post you are against that?
The Advantages of Early Voting
The Advantages of Early Voting
By Dennis Hartman
Many states allow some form of early voting, which lets voters cast their ballots either by mail or in person before Election Day. In addition, federal absentee ballots are available to voters who will be out of their home area on Election Day. There are several advantages to early voting--for voters, candidates and government agencies.
Other People Are Reading
Convenience
Early voting is convenient. For governments, making early voting available to citizens is a way to increase overall voter turnout and improve access to the polls.and accessible voting system. According to Reform Elections, as many as 20 percent of all votes were cast early in recent elections.
If you vote early, you might avoid the long lines that can occur during peak hours on Election Day, and you may feel more comfortable taking you time filling out your ballot. Early voting leaves you free on Election Day to go to work, follow a normal schedule or volunteer for an Election Day campaign activity without needing to take time off to vote.
Finally, if you vote early, you can ensure that your ballot will be counted even if an unforeseen event keeps you from the polls on Election Day.
Efficiency
Early voting gives government agencies more time to tabulate votes. This can cut down on the need to hire extra poll workers for Election Day or vote counters later. In the case of absentee ballots, the number of ballots issued is counted, but the votes themselves may never be checked unless the Election Day results are very close. This eliminates the need to count even more ballots, putting less strain on the elections system.
Support
For some voters, early voting offers a chance to support a candidate by expressing confidence in him. Early voters who take part in exit polls or express their decision publicly can help generate enthusiasm for a campaign or give a candidate's strategy team valuable information about trends as Election Day approaches.

There you go Big Mike adding your interpetation. The judge could think that the next toime this comes up maybe under democrats that it could be used to suppress the minority party. He said nothing about republicans he just simply said problems could arise and as usual you twist his ruling to suit your opinion.

You know --that is a Darn shame -Republican's --try to create voter fraud by -doing Voter fraud-then --they try to suppress-the vote -as their way -of fixing the problem -they created-
-- they can't win -an election -so they just stop the other side --from voting -can you imagine--the conversation --if Democrat's -were to try a stunt like that--
