Re: greenbay hounds
I have 2 males out of Butkus that are 14 1/2 or bigger. I like them alot! Excellent hunt and ability!
Re: greenbay hounds
I know of a 15 plus incher off of Butkus and a double Lake Ogemaw Casey female, right up your alley Chapkos, I guarantee he ain't medium speed. Heads up and rolling, He left my kennel at 13.5 inches at 6 months. Butkus can throw big ones as well. Imagine quick and clean like you described Chapkos, I think that would suit a lot of folks. FC Henry's Hunter is 15 as well.
Joe K. will sell his best and move on, when you still have access to Butkus and Paw King I think he will still be competitive in the future.
I too have seen Butkus run on two hard running days, he can run up with the big ones on big runs, then cut the pack when they miss. He is just a nice hound and throws a nice hound, I love Paw king's twist with the hard hitting Ninja blood!
See you in the spring Brandon with Mary, those will be some little pocket rockets!

Re: greenbay hounds
We had Butkus and I can tell ya he is the real deal. All I can say is dont put a price on something you dont want to sell. Would be honored to have him back in the kennel. He is and should be considered one of the best. He does not throw all little pups. We have several Butkus pups out of several females and we like what we see. Joe K will be honest with you and deserves all the credit for these hounds. Wiley, Shooter, Butkus, Paw King, Remi and the list goes on. Give credit where credit is due. He just keeps reloading.

Of the dogs listed how many of them was Joe K the breeder?
Re: greenbay hounds
Just from judging what Joe K. has sold ie. Shooter, Butkus and so on. Its obviouse the man will sell just about any hound for the right price. The man is just confident that he can turn around and breed, train and raise quality dogs. He does it over and over again. When you have that kind of confidence I guess you will let your best go for top dollar sums. Give the men the credit that is due......DH

Re: greenbay hounds
I just picked up a pup that would be pawking's grandpup. hope that carries through.
The sire was a good 14.5 inches, no little dog, that's for sure.

Confadence ha
I thought is was his 60 acers of frozen tundra that is packed with rabbits
I dont think it is confadence at all I think joe has all the tools around his place to get the job done. Lets say it hard tto drive a nail with with a rock, but can be done. Now if u have a hammer than ur getting her done.
I will say he has the nose and line control. I like have not seen more consistance hounds day in and day out that is why I am breeding the size and speed into it.
And just for the record my shooter dog is much bigger and faaassssttteeerrr than any shooter dog I have seen
Stands about 15 1/4 proud
