They are sweet, I don't own one yet but I do occasionally borrow a coon hunting buddies though. It is amazing how much you think you know about what a dog is doing. We live in the mountains here in Tennessee & some of the terrain just isn't really feasible to follow dogs in. There are several places that the dogs regularly run rabbits but we never actually get in to see what's going on. Many times we scratching our heads as to "what coulda happened". This sheds a lot of light on situations sometimes. I also found a dog in about 20 minutes that would have taken hours normally if I ever would have saw her again. We were hunting one evening in some pretty big country in a national forest when the dogs ran a rabbit well into dark. While they were running in some pretty rough terrain a storm started brewing & was producing some very high winds. All dogs came in but one. The storm must have turned her around because when she didn't show I dialed her up & she was nearly 1,000 yards away across a very rough gorge wandering around. You could see on the screen she was moving very slowly but not really going anywhere. The map had a road marked less than 75 yards from her. A long drive around the deep holler she was across & I pulled within 50 or 60 yards from here. Called 1 time & up the hill she came. I've hunted everything imaginable in that area most of my life & I had no idea you could get from where she was to where we found her the way she went, there are several cliff lines that I had not found ways around, so know I know a route through that particular area if I ever need it. I'm saving my nickels as we speak.

They are great....I've had an Astro for quite awhile and just bought the new Alpha....holy smokes that thing is awesome. The perimeter alarm, rescue mode and 3D compass are a huge upgrade from my 220.

Did you get the combo tracker / shocker? If so what kind of range are you getting from either or both if you have both. Thanks.

I got the combo, I've only tested range to 2 miles and it never lost coverage. My 220 dropped off at 750ish yds with my 4 DC 30's in the same spot. The new combo also locks onto it's gps signal much quicker....turn it on and it's up to speed within a minute....my 220/DC30's used to take a couple minutes. Today I turned on 3 of my DC 30s as well as the new TT10 and both handhelds.....looked down at 1/4 mile and the new one was locked on....the other wasn't.

Not positive at shock....I was 2 miles away from the collar and I can't find a volunteer to hold the probes while I try to shock them from 2 miles out.

Just got mine Friday, turned loose twice since then. Absolutely love it. I need two more collars. I bought it from Lion Country Supply, great people to deal with.
