I got a question. I am gonna start field trialing in Kentucky. Can yall tell me what are some good judges to get, and which judges to look out for, and what clubs they are from. and also could u tell me some good clubs to go to. i would appreciate it.

I wouldn't "look out for" any judges or clubs in particular.I would just go and have a good time.Form your own opinion on judges as you go.Having said that,if you are running AKC Midwest I would make it a point to go the trials held by South Ky or West Ky.I have always enjoyed their trials.Plenty of good clubs in ARHA too .I would ask around and see who has lots of rabbits and go there. That is what makes it fun for me.That and who has the best food.

thank you mr. murphy. i got another question if you have the time. i have heard that at some little pack hunts, the gentleman fight and argue and swear and carry on. does this happen? i am concerned because my young son enjoys going places with me also. i appreciate your responses.

yea mr murphy, you should be able to answer that question, considering that you are one that starts many arguments yourself!!!!

Guest ,I kind of doubt that.I have been trialing since 1993 and in that time I have only asked a question at the end of a cast two times and one of those two was a cast that I won.So tell me how I have started" many" arguments. As far as I know I have only had one.

Thanks

I have trialed a long time and I have never heard anybody cursing anybody.I dont think you have to watch for wich clubs to go to because of judges but I would look for clubs that have good running grounds.Nothings worse than winning or losing on hunting and handleing.
