Video of bean field running.....

Blaze has a pretty good direction, always coming back to the check and never giving up on the track. She hunts great, runs a good line and can lock onto her rabbits. I like her mouth has well. Here's a link to her sire:
http://americanbeagler.huntingboards.co ... 27&t=67500. Her dam is Sackett Creek Angel. Angel is out of Powell's Turbo Dream Boat x Checkmate's Flyin' Angel. Dream boat was a son of FC Turbo Powered By Prop X Larsen's Copper

Sorry for the talkin in the video, just got excited for this pup. She ran this rabbit back and forth in the beans, this rabbit crossed over its own tracks numerous of times. With the bad dry conditions already and a doubling back rabbit, it was hard for this pup to put a lot of pressure on it. Before this video she had been running this rabbit in the beans for 30 minutes... She put enough pressure and it finally went to the briars, only to go another bean field...

Thank you for watching....

You can't teach them to "stick" in the check area and to not give up. Keep doing what you are doing and she looks like she will do fine. Gun season should be fun for both of you this year. Nothing like putting the time into a pup (when you have it). Thanks for sharing.

Great! Looks like she's doing fine!
Havnt been getting any bean field runs but lots of corn field runs. It seems every time we go out the dogs go right to the cornfield and seconds later get a rabbit going 90% of the run takes place in the cornfield. Must be rabbits feel safe in cropfields. :)

Love me some beanfield running. It's almost like watching a video game as they tear through those beans. That said,it's so dry here that the beans are almost crispy from the lack of moisture these past months.Dogs can run but just too dry to be able to put alot of pressure on the rabbits.

Looking good Casey. I like running in the beans but the ones up here didn't grow much this year.
