I won the hare hunt last year, it is for 1 person. Lodging provided and it is semi-guided, but the people who own the guide service said the cabin sleeps 10 and you can bring guys with you for $35 per night, per person. I don't know if the prices will have changed for this year or not, but that's a good deal. 6 nights at $35 is only $210 for a weeks hunt.

We go every year. It is an AWESOME place to hunt. Dont worry about the semi-guided thing as you will have PLENTY of places to run. Cabins are VERY clean and the people running it is good people. We can usually get by for about $500 a person for the WHOLE trip, this includes everything from gas, lodging, food to hunting license. Not bad for a 6 day hunt.
Still adding prizes!!!!!!

The Hare hunt is worth it!!! Great running, accomodations, people and best of all.... cheap...

Probably the worst part is the hours on the road to get there but I can tell you it is all just part of the trip for us because it is a experience like not other.

If you were to take this as a prize in the raffle you can not go wrong.

I can not wait to be back in the Maine Hare woods again this year, third year in a row and hope I can make thirty.
