I purchased a set of male pups out of Butkus that he sold to a gentleman in Delaware a few weeks ago. The gentleman had signed the puppy papers and did not have but one of them at the time my friend picked the dogs up for me. He stated that he would register the dogs since he signed the papers and then mail me the akc papers to transfer them in my name. We offered to take care the fee for doing so to minimize the out of pocket expense. We have made multiple attempts to reach out to him for an update the past couple of weeks with no response. If anyone has the contact info of the breeder Dave McMillan please send me a message. I am hoping that he can give them litter info with hopes of registering the males online.
Thanks Ken

Re: Looking for Dave McMillan from Ohio
Wish you the best of luck, but did want to point out that you can't register them online with out the code from the individual pups litter registration paper. The code is specific to each puppy paper and without it you won't be able to register them online. At least not to my knowledge.
If the litter owner is an AKC.org online user. Then it is possible that the owner might be able to register the puppy in his name and then transfer the papers to you. I get an email on mine where AKC wants me to give all the info on who I sold the pups to so they can contact/harass the buyer about registering the pup. One of the options is for me to register the pup, so he might be able to do that for you.
There is always the option of calling the AKC and trying to get it all worked out with them. Will probably cost an arm and a leg, these days that's all they seem to be about is money, they might require DNA and who knows what else. Of course all at your expense and with zero guarantee of registration.
Sorry to be a downer, just trying to help by letting you know what all you might be in for.
