At 415 this morning I was sweating loading the two dogs I am now out here with. Got here at 430 and I had the air on the way here and sweat was still rolling off my head. Been here an hr and already thinking of loading them up and saying forget it. I sure hate the heat. We did actually get a rain a couple days ago that lasted 25 min and we got about 1 inch and a half. Going to FL next week hope its better when I get back.

Hot and rainy here in south Louisiana. We've been getting rain just about everyday.

Here in southwest Indiana it is dry, dry, and drier. We have had about three rains over the past 4 weeks of 1/2" and one couldn't tell that we got a drop. One evening about 4 weeks ago I had a rabbit in my back filed so I got my good ole female and a young male that I led right to where the rabbit was sitting and couldn't get a bark. My lawn is totally brown and I've not mowed but twice this entire year. Just saw on the news last night that the mine area close to where we run had a brush fire that got numerous acres before 5 fire departments got it stopped. This happened at 1:00 a.m. and they don't know what started it but it did was make the State police remind everyone that they will be ticketing anyone throwing cigerette butts out the car window as it is a violation to throw any lighted object from a vehicle window in Indiana.
