I dont think anyone is questioning whether sonic is a complete package its the whole way she is protraying him to be. It seems that everyone is questioning the pounding a rabbit for 12-14 hours a day during the heat that everyone down that way is experincing that is in question. I have never seen him run and will in no way cut sonic down but i have run dogs for almost 25 years and im not just talking beagles i have run coon dogs,bear dogs,coyote dogs and i have seen them all during the summer run for 10 - 14 hours with that said i have yet to see any of them actually running at that time they are normally just walking the track and making forward progress. Also from the 8th hour on you could pretty much just holler and they would stop or atleast you could catch them with very little effort.

I would also like to say the only reason they were running those types of hours in the summer heat was due to our terrain we have lots of mountains and few roads to actually cut a dog off. I have to agree with the majority of the post on here that running a dog for that long and not picking him up is asking for trouble. I hope she never has anything happen to her dogs as i can tell she is very attached to her dogs.

yall might not believe this but my dogs layed up in the AC for 12 hours yesterday, they fat as hogs, only bark at people that do not belong in the yard. I use to run in the heat untill I seen a couple hounds monkey in the cut downs we hunt. The snakes are big and bad here some of the rattleheadedcoppermoccasins here will kill your hounds, running at nite the gators are waiting on a meal at the canals and water holes so its best to stay home and let the potlickers be yard dogs for a couple months. A couple of months on laying up will be overcome in a few weeks of fall running. I would love to see ole sonic run a rabbit. Where is he located. Katlyn send me a pic of ole sonic so I can show it to sisaroo and hang it in her house for inspiration.

Well heck,obviously the people who schedule AKC trials don't know anything. Why would they skip having hunts in the summer? Sonic can run in the heat and he is ready to take on challengers. For real he must have skin like alligator leather, he has to be blind from all the seeds and green getting in his eyes, and his tail is worn down to a strip of raw bone. His brain has overheated several times so he's not as smart as he once was, and he is permanetly dehydrated. He is no good for breeding because he has overheated and killed his sperm, yep this is definately a dog someone loves and cares about.
Those bunch of wimpy FC's and other dogs. Real dogs pound 12 to 14 hours in a 100 degrees. What do those guys know? Denny Dugan is out as Mid West president and KK is in..
I knew Bernard Mullinex and hunted with him several times,I had nothing but respect for him and in all reality he would be embaressed by the BS you write on here, I imagine he would suggest you go back to school to learn to spell and quit making a fool of yourself and his dogs..Its a shame..
