Beatin the Heat

We have put a sprinkler on top in the middle of our 20' x 12' kennel. There are shade screens on the top and sides so the water can penetrate the shade screens and cool the whole thing down (floor & dog houses). The timer we have is set every 2 hrs and 15-30 minutes of spray at a time. The more expensive the timer the more creative you can get with the cycles. We are experiencing 100 plus degree weather and no cooler temps on the way. Some of the hounds stay out while its spraying others don't.lol I had been thinkin of doing this only to come home and my wife got R done. Just wanted to share. Anthony Grayson

I got a doggie door into the garage with a small AC unit. People tell me I spoil my dog. Gotta love july and august in the south.

My dogs are under a carport with fans blowin on them. They're surviving- just loungin around.

I HAVE TWO KENNELS BOTH OR A/C EQUIPPED PLUS I HAVE TO SMALL TOTS WITH WATER AT THE END OF THE RUN SO THEY CAN GET INTO TO COOL OFF
