The lead in to Fox Chase by Blackfoot is the best to me if your talking about Southern Rock and running hounds. I have been trying to get a pack of hounds to sound like this for years now.

Really Great boys. Lot more out there I know. When I went to these u-tube sites, I spent hours listening to the other tunes on there. Love that banjo picking.

Talking about picking. Not on a banjo but quality picking never the less. Song for anybody away from home. Always liked this one for driving.

" Lonesome and lonely and far from my home
tried to get back to where I know I belong
wish and I hope that I was already there
I just heard a voice that whispered in my ear,
Singing. There goes another Love Song !"

Can we say that good music is similar to a good race in that it touches the "soul"? I would.

I would agree Buck, and to me ,that is exactly something a true houndsman would say. ;)
