Ted has every right within the constraints of those who monitor this website for improper content to state his opinion. This election affects us as beaglers as well as breadwinners and homemakers. The more liberal our leaders become, the more rights they want to give to themselves and the fewer they want us to have. That is simply liberalism by definition, not personal opinion. The tie to us is that liberalism historically attempts to take away gun owners and sportsmens rights. I urge everyone to vote. My grandfather saw friends die on Okinawa while he survived so we can have these rights. Crewchief and others have left home and family behind for years for the same reasons. To exercise your ability to vote is nothing more or less than to state your opinion where it will be counted. I urge each member of this board and the beagling community to at least look at marriage, abortion, national defense, gun owners' rights, and all that we hold dear in the heartland before we pull a lever. On that Wed. morning we all will have to live with our decisions, good or bad. By the way, the Scriptures teach that there will never be peace on earth, Jesus Himself set people against one another when He taught the proper way to live, knowing that many would resist. There is a difference between peace and pacification. There is a difference between pacification and freedom.

John, that question really answers itself, doesn't it? By the way, I'm beginning a career as an educator (in late middle age, at that), I guess that I will be going somewhat against the grain but I never was one for stating an opinion to win a popularity contest. Never won one in my life. I like to compare many of my views with those of Zell Miller. I wonder if he is a beagler?

Many of us have served this Great Democratic country, many have fought and many have died defending her. I always have and I will continue to excercise my right to go to the polls and cast my vote for the candidate I so choose. In doing so I look at what makes this country so Great and that is Freedom. We enjoy it due to the MANY that have sacrificed so that we have the Freedom of speech, religion, marriage, the right to bear arms and to vote.
In my quest to choose who I think is best for this country I have to look at the very core or soul of this nation and consider how my or anyone else's Freedom my be jeopardized. I also realize that there will be no one candidate that meets my expectations on every issue but I must make a choice.
I'm NOT for abortion but I AM for a womans FREEDOM to choose.
I'm NOT for gay marriage but I AM for a person's FREEDOM to choose.
I'm NOT for church and state but I AM for a person's FREEDOM to practice whatever religion they so desire or NOT.
I'm NOT for teaching religion in public schools but I AM for a person's FREEDOM to pray and speak the word God while there.
I'm NOT for gun control, although I don't know why anyone other than a soldier would need an M-16 but I am for their FREEDOM to choose.
I'm NOT for having guards at the polls but I am for everyone's FREEDOM to vote.
I'm NOT for every business being unionized but I AM for the people's FREEDOM to choose.
I'm NOT for big corporate perks but I am for taking away all their FREEDOMS when they ruin so many employees livelyhood.
When I go to the polls I will have one thing on my mind and that is FREEDOM OF CHOICE!

The other day I was just talking with random people about who they will vote for? The strangest thing happened most people who say they will vote Kerry said that the towers and terriost dont concern them being that it happened so far away and they dont believe the terriost have the power or means to do real damage,Most believe we as a nation should just pull are troops come home and protect are country,I asked protect from what. If u believe its your safe why do u need protection? Now a couple said that its better to forgive them "terriost" they feel kerry will tolerate this problem better I feel it will give them "terriost" a fresh start.

Now some of the other i spoke with think kerry will help with gay marriage, and the government will cover each and everyone with a senators health care plan in the next two years.

Not one person i spoke with had a kind word for this countries president.

the other question i asked who believes in god, some said they did but most believe in the here and now and science some even went as far to say if scientist where allowed to do reseach with stem cell people will never die and then god doesnt exist. kerry will do this. right or wrong its a vote. actually talking about god seems to really pee people off more so than this election.

I believe in god,for me this will never change.
