Buck ........ what makes people great is the different personalities and opinions we all have, just like the beagles we own. I certainly have opinions people disagree with but its my honest opinion. My joke may of been posted in the wrong spot but i thought it fit perfectly at the time(and still think it does). As i said its a joke. I have some Irish and Polish in me and when i hear a Irish or Polish joke i dont yell bigot. I take it for what it is, ....... a joke. Some are quite funny too. I'd rather have someone tell me my opinion is wrong or even stupid than drawing the line in the sand and yelling ...Bigot. Your right about one thing tho, i'd run dogs with GW anytime too. He's seems like a man of his beliefs and not afraid to express them no matter what anyone may think. Thats the kind of guy i like, not the kind who says nice things to ya but when your gone says another. Okay, now im done.

likeem: I admire people who speak up for what they believe. I am sure you, GW and I would have some lively conversations around the campfire. Shucks, we already had some on here. (my humor, not meant to be personal in any way). PM me any time.

By the way, your wife sounds like mine. I call her "she who must be obeyed". When she is wrong it is because I wasn't listening. We agree to disagree about just about everything and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I've been married forty-four years and have never won an argument with my wife. They usually end with,
"I don't wish to discuss it any more". Her eighty eight year old mother moved in with us last year. Talk about a lesson in genetics. Neither has ever lost an argument. ;)

Newt, I also have never won an argument with my wife, or my mother, or her mother now that I think about it. I just do what I want to do, instead of trying to argue with my wife and convince her that I am doing the right thing. My old man taught me years ago that it is easier to get forgiveness than permission.
