The Garmin DC 40's still giving problems?
Really thinking of investing in some collars but I hear a lot of bad things about these. Can't find much on recent developments though so I figured I would ask here.

i think it was lion country supply that my buddy ordered his from and they moved the antennas on the collars to prevent them from losing signal all the time... he's not had a single problem with his at all...

I have had since last year, one collar quit on me in feb, but I contacted gundogsupply.com, and they sent me a new collar at no cost in 3 days, and have had no problems since then, with any of the others I have. Would def recommend

I love mine, would definetley recommend!!! Adds a whole new level to a hunt, almost like watching the chase with your own eyes, even when they are out of sight and even hearing range.

Lose signal a lot here in the mountains. Trying the extended range antenna now. Like the system, but not worth the money yet.

Bought 6 dc40's and a 320 in february from Gundog Supply and not one bit of trouble. I only use the short antennae and get plenty of range.
Re: The Garmin DC 40's still giving problems?
Since the 320's have came out not hardly any problems with the DC-40's all the problems with the DC-40's were before the 320's came out. Not hearing anyone having any trouble now some people are having a little bit of Trouble if they are in the Mountains with alot of cover on the Trees but they still get signal back and fourth.
