likeemfast, As you know Superman had the cape and the big ole S on his chest. I didn't think it would be a good idea to start the pups out with capes, It would be difficult for them to get through the briars with them on so they would have to be removed. It is a well known fact that you don't tug on Superman's cape,and for that reason I don't think it would be wise to try and remove a cape from a Superdog. Would probably be best not to start them out with one. I am no expert on Superdogs though as I have never owned one. But this would be my guess.

Anyone that states their dog can run any rabbit on any day and run that rabbit or any other rabbit that day the exact same way in my eyes needs to get their eyes or ears checked. I have seen tons of hounds run in my life on everything from bears to cottontails. I have never once seen a hound that will run any animal from any species the exact same every time no matter what.

Everyone that runs dogs and has a brain knows there are days that the best they have can't run because the dog just couldn't smell the rabbit . U never know how the dogs will do until u put them down.

I guess if the rabbit passing gas can mess up a dogs nose, then I have figured out our problem. Many times the guys I hunt with stay out late and get tanked up on cheap draft beer at the local watering hole. Then they fill up on bc powder, coffee and doughnuts and hit the woods the next morning. Man, you talking about some guys sounding off. No wonder we have trouble running sometimes. Its amazing our hounds can smell a rabbit at all.

smokedawg, You might want to be careful you don't scare one of them too badly, especially If they are riding in your truck. Not only that but you could probably validate this theory, If you are let's say, in the truck and they sound off are you able to smell a rabbit or anything else right after that. Makes the cloaking theory sound a little more plausible, I think.
