Running lately

Anyone else having some good runs? These past 2 weeks it seems as tho the dogs are
Jumping the right rabbits that wanna run far..today both rabbits took the dogs outta hearing range for quite some time before turning around. Would this be typical of running in the spring? I hunted this spot earlier in the year and they didn't run like they have lately. If I hadn't seen the rabbits today I might have thought it was something else. Gotta say those long runs are way more exciting then the normal runs I was getting.

Yes, this time of year you get into some roaming rutting buck rabbits and they run hard and long

Lots of great runs lately, better than the fall and staying above ground. Absolutely pounding the last month here and i mean pounding. If only they hunted harder

Went out today with Ed, and his son Daniel from Carnesville Ga, rabbits won. In the Briars and beaver Pond. Jump them couldn`t make them run,jump them again couldn`t make them run.
Have been out the last three days in a row,deleted all the video`s, was not worth puting on. If I could film at night I could put some awesome video`s on. Went out Friday night had a split race,Shantie and the rest came by me after one and Buz went across the mow path above me. It was just dark and had to turn my flashlight on to see the rabbit. The rabbit hit the left side of the path and Buz hit the right side both in the beam. Pretty good for just 11 mths. I know he could see the rabbit and looked like one of them Grey hounds trying to catch the fake rabbit and just about that fast. I know it`s that time of the year but dang it`s frustratin.
