You can order an online pedigree from AKC.

A 5 generation online pedigree is $12 on the AKC site. All you need is the registration # of the dog you want the pedigree for. I have also gotten pedigrees from guys on here so if you give the dogs name and the sire and dam name someone may be able to help you out on here too.

How can you upload a pedigree on here and have it come out right without it being in a straight line?

If you buy a pedigree from the AKC it cost you $12. Your better off going to beaglepedigree.com it cost you $12 to join for the year and then you can have access to the beagle pedigree for a full year and search and research pedigrees all at no charge and print out any pedigree which you search for. If you want to print out a pedigree that is not present in the data base then with the one year membership you get two free pedigrees that will be printed for free. Why pay $12 for a one time pedigree? Just makes sense to go to beaglepedigreecom. ....DH

Deerhost, what is the cost after the first 2 free ones? The reason I ask is I remember trying that site over a year ago, if I remember right, and the couple of dogs I searched for I came up with no pedigree. I was of the understanding at the time that they were building a database but wasn't sure how/where they get all of their information??? Do you ever have trouble finding a pedigree?? And if they don't have it in their database then how do you get it from them through the 2 free ones you mentioned? Does it come from AKC??

IF you don't find it on the database you e-mail the administrator the AKC# or the names or Numbers of the dam and sire and it will be added from what I understand. Frankly I have had no problem finding any pedigree. Also you can get detailed info on siblings and other crosses of the sire and dam and so on....The owner of the site is Carl post and goes by the name CAP on this board.....DH
