The only thing I can say from my experience is hope you have a lot of rabbits, and put them in the right places. I struggle in the summer and in the winter on my property, cause their only a few rabbits. If i can watch them for a few nights and see where their feeding, I can usually catch them.

Pyramid traps with apples is the only way to go. I have had good luck with them in warm weather.

I remember a while back, maybe a year or more, there was a guy that made them and said he could catch them year-round.
Barry something or something Barry, I can't remember exactly. The only problem was they were $100.00 with shipping, a little pricey for me.
I think he called them octagon traps.
Found it,

Re: rabbit traps???
I made my own for less than $15.00 each. I do have a little advantage because I have access to lots of scrap plywood that I use for the base. I bought 1" x 2" cyprus strips from Lowes and some 1 1/2" wood screws as well as a set of gate hinges. The trigger is the tough part. I printed pictures and a friend customer was really good with a band saw helped with the rest out of some 3/4" white oak. It is 3 parts and forms a figure 4 when set with an apple half holding it up. We were able to catch garden raiding rabbits in May and June without any problem. I always heard that a rabbit would not go in a box at that time of year. I don't know if it is true or not, but catching them in the pyramid was fairly simple. I think the ones we made were 20" x 20".
