I have a 4 year old redtick male that is a grandpup to Rebel's Last Chance and Cayenne Penny on the Dam's side with some other Gunsmoke stuff on the top. He is a great dog. Has good hunt, and can drive a rabbit. The dog in my mind has plenty of foot, he's not blistering fast but can run with what you put him down with. I would call him med-fast which is what I like. No off barking and uses his mouth right. A beautiful redtick hound.

if you have line bred jojo you will not see anything over med speed. There are several outcrosses that may get you med fast. One of my Turbo males is now down in Tenn being bred into tickle blue kennels (rebels last chance)........there are two guys here in ohio breeding jojo dogs and i think they have done a great job picking good crosses and the right females. I love the deep chocolate red that this bloodline throws!

Nutter is doing a good job outcrossing to nice females.....you will be happy with that pup! Solo, solo, solo the crap out of it!!!!! I would also recomend sending it to brad hanners (hurry up kennels), or Roy Passamor's for conditioning. They both need a very nice job getting a ton of rabbit tracks on young pups.

Here's a good link:Danny is the owner of Rebel's Last Chance

Turbo Powered Bo is the male i owned that went down there.

I have been to Mr. Danny's several times and have 4 dogs from him. He is very straight up about his dogs. Everyone that I have from his is a medium or upper medium depending on conditions. They all have lots of hunt and are good in the check area. I only had one I didn't like and it wasn't because of anything other than she was too fast and I didn't like her mouth.

I have 5 pups from Nutters Kennels in Ohio. They are from 3 different females, but all three bred to Torching Hot Summer. Nice red ticks! I have high hopes with a male that is coming 6 mo. old. I've had him in a starting pen a couple times last month. My 7 mo. old female is really getting too tall and leggy for my tastes, but she will sight chase and has opened once on track. Not sure what I'm going to do with her. I prefer 13" hounds and she will be 14" to 15". ( That Branko blood from her dam's side, I guess. LOL) If all works out down the road, I'll line breed these red ticks. Time will tell.

The female I have for sale, is her sire is directly from Dannys Kennel. Me and a buddy of mine went to dannys house and picked the male out we wanted. He is rebels last chances son, and Cayenne Penny was his mom. If anyone is interested she is for sale, very good looking female.

I picked up a puppy about a year and a half ago. He had Speck in the running pen with some young dogs. She is an older dog but, she ran about a medium speed and when the other dogs made a loss she would come in and straighten them up. She had some really good line control and a good honest mouth. I watched her for about an hour and wereever the rabbit went she went.
