ONE OTHER THING, IT HASNT STOPPED OVER SIZED DOGS THEIR STILL ON RESULTS HUNTING AND PLACING!

your acting like i have an oversized dog is why im talking about this rule,ALL mine is uder 15in and i will be at every lp hunt i can be at! the reason i started talking so much about this is the human error of how these dogs are being measured, theres ppl on here that has has 13.5 in dogs thats been measured that way measure 14 7/8ths so what the issue is with me is paying for the trip with completly legal dogs getting measured out by inspecterers that doesnt know how the heck to measure! exsplain to me how you believe that this is not something to worry about. youll be pissed yourself when one of your great dogs is measured out eather b4 the hunt or when your challanged at the stake by someone who will have you measured because you have a card on your dog and you run into one of these inspecters that doesnt know how to measure! im done with you i never entered this discussion to argue with ppl like yourself that cant have an open enough mind to understand what this post is really about and what the issue is thats gotten the descussion so big. IM DONE WITH YOU! i wont argue like a school kid over this i just give my exsperiances and my thoughts on here......

Remember this is an investment for Del and adding money to his pocket is business. If he would invest more i would imagine he could make more. If I were him I would let all clubs vote on rules, which is how it used to be. Paying charter fees with no say. I would try to continuely try to improve a grow. If I am not mistaken he knows nothing about beagles or the beagle world so he Depends on a couple to help make his decisions, but even your major corporation are learning that employee knowlege far out way a couple at the top. My only problem again is having some untrained guy measure my dog a 1/2 inch off. Which was done this past weakend. My 14.5 was measure 13 1/8 same guy measure the dog 14 7/8 the priar weak.

Well that brings us to part two a conflict in measuring  ....... Its a open forum so how would you address the solution?

Here's my take on the matter. No dog will measure the same each time they are measured. The surface in which they are measured on, along with the difference in stands and all the other varibles that are envolved. None of use stand the same height or way each time we stand up. Clubs are in a hurry to get the hounds measured, therefore I doubt you will ever get an accurate measurement.
I would say as long as you don't get measured out, then who cares what they measure. As far as measuring out, what club wants to loose revenue at a hunt. Now if you do get measured out, then I say you have something to bitch about, but until then, I'm going to let it ride. JMO

The rule is the rule....get measured out then you have somthing to b**ch about.... I known there is dogs in the hall of fame that is to tall....I know that's not right.....but if you was man enough to call them dogs out at the stake ... we wouldn't be where we are now.....I have dogs that are to tall and some that are to small....but if I know there to big ....I'm man enough to leave them at the house ......Cause I know what the rule is..........................I didn't make it ...

I don't think anyone is arguing to bring a big dog. It's the inconsistency in measuring that's the problem. There are some that measure at a "natural" stance, and some that stand a dog on their tippy-toes trying to measure one out. When personal preference leads some inspectors to push a dog's chest up and place the dog in a stance you'd never find it in naturally just so he can measure it out, then there's a big problem if you've driven across country with a dog you feel is under the 15" mark.
