My family has line-bred, raise and kept the fast line of the Pearson Creek for over 65 years.
They are very fast, run to catch, hard driving 15" type hounds.

I bought a female pup from Vic Costanza out of I.F.C. Maravic's Blue Ninja x Greenbriar Charity in 1994 and have been linebreeding back to Ninja since. Also using some other Branko's Jack of all Trades sons and daughters along with Ninja's littermate sister Branko's Conna.
These give me 15" hounds with good foot,hard hunt,honest mouths and are smart good acting hounds.Some have been naturally trash free and the others have been broke very easily.
These hounds can really rock and roll on hare and swampers yet also can account for their cottontails.Their style would be more suitable for Large Pack on Hare or swampers.A.R.H.A. Little Pack or the Mid-West S.P.O.trials.They would be considered to stout/hard hitting for some of the other S.P.O. associations.

I run mostly Reggie dogs but shady Grove I sure do like the hounds in the bloodline that you are running and wouldn't mind getting hold of a couple of those myself.. I really like the Ninja blood.

Sounds like a mess but each one contributes their own strengths and really compliment each other. Have bred my Awful Bawlin to my Burr Oak bitch I am really looking forward to that cross! So this time next year that might be my bloodline, who knows, some people say I'm never satisfied!

My all time best hounds were 1/4 Pearson Creek and 3/4 Patch.

My two househounds are a half patch and an all patch, and as most of you already know there are several patch guys on here. I just thought I would post that for the newbies are who just getting into this. My dogs are 4 and 6 years and continue to impress me with thier hunt, desire, brains, and hard hitting running style. I had them out last weekend in about 4 inches of fresh powder and single digit temps sat. and they worked their tails off searching, finding, and jumping rabbits. When they did get one giong they kept in moving back to the gun. Then the next day the weather got a little warmer (20's) and it was non stop running . I think getting them out in the tough conditions helps them to dial in and then they do even better when the condition improve.
