Have a few heavy in Indian Hill's Majer, Lots of line breeding on Dingus Macrae on a couple as well. Have a nice FC female off of Shooter, Nice 2yr old off of Butkus, a 6mnth old off of one of my Heavy Majer and Dingus females and White river Coal Miner(directly off of Weedeater T-ann). Also a nice little female by Top Gun Tyke and a little one, 9 wks off of Butkus and another of my Heavy Majer females. I am hoping these hounds will set me up for even better hounds in the future. I am real happy with the pack of hounds I have and they do a nice job for me. They run upper medium to fast and hunt well, I am adding the Ranger Dan for line control and nose, they also hunt pretty well so I am pretty confident in my plan if the hounds stay healthy and I can get some successful breedings.

been line breeding on my male out of ifc haunted hill shaker. and ifc stoney hills tamarak. i like breeding him to females with fc black point bessie in them this is his dams mother his grand mother. and bitches with shaker in them. when bred to a bessie bitch i get great snow dogs and check dogs about med fast. when bred to shaker bitches i get extreme hunt and good check dogs . one thing id like to change is wish could get bigger bitches a lot of 14 insh bitches . and my males are hard to stay under 15 so smaller males bigger females. maybe more chop mouth .
I will not follow where the path may lead; but I will go where there is no path, and leave a trail. LORD HELP ME BE THE PERSON MY DOG THINKS I,AM!!!

Started with Colby Hill.
Crossed a Julie grandson to a Donna daughter. (1st litter) 1998
2nd cross Missippi Homer male
3rd cross back to a son of the 1st.
4th cross Appalachian Scout male
5th back to a different son of the 1st.
6th ???

The Colby Hill dogs had the hunt, nose, and brains that I liked.
I just didn't like occasionally getting over sized ones.
Over the years i've reduced their size by outcrossing to 13" males.
Hoping to continue with smaller sized hounds with jump ability and snow nose.

I like a good mix of foot with control and good nose. I like some of the hare blood for the foot, hunt, nose and stamina that it throws and also the dogs seem to have good kennel manners. I also like some cottontail blood because they tend to have more control and are tight on the line and close in the check. So I've been trying to cross some Hare bloodlines to cottontail blood.

At the moment I have Some Greenbay Shoooter stuff, some Kalgha mixed with Rangerdan via Wingates breeding, Some Eaton Brook crossed with Rangerdan, Some Speedy Sport breeding crossed with Fish Creek, and am picking up some P.A. Moss Glenn Cottontail breeding to mix into some of the hare stuff I am running. The only problem is I sometimes tend to get some pups that are a little to hard hitting for what I'm looking for and some that go the other way and are a little too conservative for me. I tend to try and breed or buy pups that are a good mix of both lines......DH
