The picture is real . The two smaller ears were hidden behind it's regular ears . We didn't notice this until we had gotten home and
my buddies wife pointed it out .

I have never seen one before but I believe the picture is real because of who posted. I have dealt with him a lot and always found him to be honest. I do however see why some of you guys are having fun with it. I am 66 yrs old and have been in the woods all my life. A few things I have observed I was afraid to tell because they were so unbelievable but fortunately for these guys they took a picture. NO TELLING WHAT WE WILL SEE AS THE DAYS GO BY. Bobby

Animals can mutate in the wild just like in captivity, i.e. two headed calfs and, 5 legged sheep. Did it have just one ear canal or two?? Neat stuff!
Dogs must have sounded awful loud to him with four ears!!!

I'd check with the Ky DNR and see if you can sell it. I'd think that a taxidermist would pay dearly for that one. Never the less, I'd have it mounted myself.

Thanks Bobby I appreciate you having confidence in my honesty .
BC , I didn't think to check for another ear canal . I just thought it would make for a neat post , really didn't give
it anymore thought other than that . The extra ears really didn't show well unless pulled apart like in the picture .
I've also killed rabbits on the strips around here with knots hanging off thier feet as big as bird eggs . I never eat
anything deformed . I just don't think I could stomach it unless I was really in need of food .

I would have it mounted also and that way the proof is in the pudding.

I seen a 4 legged Chicken but never a 4 ear Rabbit...
Re: Ever see one of these before ?
I checked its ear canals and it just had them on the front set of ears.I thought it would make a good mount but the dogs kindly tore it up.BCBeagles wrote:Animals can mutate in the wild just like in captivity, i.e. two headed calfs and, 5 legged sheep.
