Any one have a cure for a dog messin in their dog house?

Post by triple pines »

She's a lil over a year and a half and goes to the bathroom in her house. She accidently got bred and stopped, but when I weaned the pups she started it again. Just wondering what you guys think. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Make the inside of the house smaller. Just make it big enough for her to lay down and she will quit.

this works.....but i had one that I had to shrink it down on and as long as it was small i never had an issue with her doing it again. But, once winter came on and i doubled dogs up i opened her box back up and she went right back to it. I never got her broke from doing it unless i always kept her in a small box. good luck, please post back if you have positive results.

Edited: (Hounds that do that might need to be excluded from further consideration as a member of your kennel).

It must be a very special hound to put up with that. The ones I 'had' that did it were not to smart....... :annoyed:

sanford,

I guess we all have our limits. To lazy or to stupid to get out of bed to pi$$ or $hit is one of my limits.

Your gyp made AKC Field Champion and crapped in her box her whole life.....lucky you

Hope your kids never wet the bed!!!!!!! I have a female that is bad about peeing in her straw. Changing the straw more often is a fault I can live with. Their are a lot of worse things.

It costs the same amount to feed a stupid dog as it does a good one.
destroying my kennel and its dog box cannot be tollerated.
But if you like the dog and can put up with that awful smell your
more tolerant than me.
Good Luck

I have cleaned up cow crap, horse crap, dog crap, cat crap, pig crap, rabbit crap, and probably some others that i have forgotten about. So I guess I am more tolerant. Growing up on a farm will do that to you. A good dog is too hard to come by ,to get rid of because of a little smell to clean up .

Any body ever see the hogs, cattle, sheep etc that they eat? yeah, they eventually get the.22 bullet BUT that's long after they have wallered in the sh*T for many months! Oh by the way you've also eaten it on those pieces of meat as well so when you hear cook the Sh*t out of it that means you probably need to. Oh, did I forget to mention chicken and that great turkey you will be having on the upcoming Thanksgiving table. They are just animals :!:
