Northway Line

What are some characteristics of this line? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

The best thing they offer is hunt no quit in them at all. The speed varies from a upper med to fast. They seem to have good line control for the most part. And did I mention hunt :D

They are very hard hunting with a lot of grit most are nice solid hounds.

I Agree 100% ,
I have 4 Northway females and they hunt snowshoe hare up North in Ontario,

I personally never owned or saw a registered dog that I considered a good rabbit dog (I do realize there are alot of good ones out there) until I spent one winter hunting week ends in Kentucky with James Coleman and his buddy "Bones". James had a pack of hounds that were Northway bred thru Ky Mtn Kennels. Had a young "Roll on Buddy" (ground pounding rabbit machine) and a female named "Reffet's Greta" that made a grand rabbit champion. Greta, the best I ever saw. Whole pack ran fast , good hunt .

have always had it crossed with tubro reggie stuff some of best dogs i ever owned hunt hunt hunt caint find there bottom
