A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
Dave, I should be there sometime friday and I usually don't do anything my first day there so I should be around and I am always around in the evening. So stop in. The cottage number is. 906-493-5154. You might. Have to leave me a message if I'm outside mess'n with the hounds. Reddog.
Ok guy's the launch sequence has started It is now T-minus 72 Hrs. and counting down. Although my Wife is still trying to figure out a way to hit the abort button She does not like me being gone for 3 weeks. I told her that she could come up. We would find something for her to do
Been alot going on in my life the last year, divorce, kid in college, kid moving out, kid moving in, granddaughter moving in, new girl friend with kid moving in. Working for a school district with all the state cuts going on. The one thing that hasn't changed is our annual trip to Drummond. It will be nice to just kick back and listen to the hounds screaming on a hare. No phone ringing, no computer beeping, no e-mail to check. It just kind of washes away all the stresses in my little piece of the world, if only for a couple of days.Really looking forward to seeing Jamie and Dave again, and a couple new faces this year. Hope Doug can make it up again. I hope all who are going and those who have already gone have tremendous running and bring home all the hounds you took up. I have a young dog that's been doing well, we'll see what he can do with a big running hare.
