I would be talking to local dog traders and dog jockeys this is the time of year thieves will hear a nice race at night and move in and take the hounds. We had some serious issues with that here a while back. They only took the ones that were doing most of the running, hence the good ones. I hope he shows up for you!

I agree with BCBeagles you'all should be checkin the local dog jockeys.I hate to say it,but its startin to look like Blacky may have been stolen.I sure hope you can get him back!

My good friend (Arlie Thompson) has had his dog (Blacky) come up missing! The dog was being ran in a enclosure in the Annville,Ky. area. Blacky was turned loose into the enclosure Monday evening around 7pm and when the guy went back to get him around 9:30pm Blacky was gone! Their not sure how he got out,or what exactly happened,they have been searching for him,but with No luck. Blacky is a 13" tri color male,I will try to post pictures of him later. Arlie is very upset about losing his dog,thats why im posting this add for him. If anyone happens to find a beagle in the Annville,Ky. area,or has any information on this dogs where'a'bouts PLEASE call me Lamarr Rhoades 740-417-1173,or Arlie Thompson 567-241-9948. If no other hounds have escaped this pen and there were no hole or gaps found, I'd say you or the pen owner know the culprit. Sometimes you unknowingly give out all the information a thief needs to decide when and where to pick up his/her wears.
My buddy lost all his hounds by bragging how good they were.

just had one come up missing too. took him 3 weeks to come home. the guy that had him took his collar off, had a trip to the vets for the works then he took him to the pound. i work for the county, they called when he came in ,and i have him back. go figure..

What has happened in this part of the country is people picking up and or stealing dogs and selling them for lab dogs. Used to be a place in the area that had any and every kind of mutt you could imagine and that was the skinny on that set up. Folks believed they gathered them to be sold for labortory animals. My cousin had several of their house dogs come up missing never to be found again back when this seemed to be going on. Now with meth so prevelent and so many meth-heads out there anything for a few bucks to get a fix would be on the table. It appears that the dog may have been stolen, I hope and pray he gets found and returned to the rightful owner and the culprit figured out.

hope u find your dog safe and sound,everybody needs to take a close look at the pics u never know when you might be at the right place at the right time and lay eyes on this dog.and if i find him u won't owe me a penny,i'm not rich by know means but i don't think a man should have to pay to have his own dog back.......best of luck,and if he did get stolen and the piece of SH?? is on here then just remember it's a very small world,and you will get yours one way or another.................charles puckett
