apen bedding allergy?

Ok I've used aspen bedding for a few years(with coonhounds, now have beagles) bc of issues with cedar. I bought some yesterday and my young pup got up this morning with one eye puffy and kinda crusted up. I removed her bedding but I'm just wondering if anyone else had dealt with this from aspen. Thanks for the input.
