Sorry about Honey Crabtree. I always liked her desire to get the job done when I judged her. She was one that the old green eyed monster of envy would tap you on the shoulder when she would blow out of a check.
She was your Secretariet. As somebody said earlier at least you have plenty of her offspring left to keep you busy and winning.

Can't find any words of comfort although I wish I could . I will tell you that this happening to a hound of the caliber
of Honey has really changed my outlook on beagling . If there's ever anything I can do to help just let me know .
I'm very sad for you :(

I just got done telling my buddy tonight after running that any dog that wins a world championship title in the A.R.H.A when there is that many dogs there to compete has to have something special. Then I came home and got on here and read this. We all know time is limited for every being on Earth, but I hate the hear about you're time being cut short with a hound that must have made such a huge impact on so many people and most of all you Crabtree, and especialy in that manner. It's something that can't be changed, but at least you have the memories which will last a lifetime, and most people will never be lucky enough to share the experiences that hound made for you, and a bookmark for a legacy of hopefuly great dogs to come! Sorry to hear this news for you.

Mike we have never met but I follow your dogs because of the name. IT seems something always happens to the good dogs.
I guess it's because they are always in there pounding. Down home, here in Anderson Co. two frends Rodney Peach and Gene Cox lost their best dogs to Coyotes this year. They were both wearing bells so that don't help eather.
Once again, sorry for your lose.
