Naming a dog is a real challenge for me i always think of a hunderd name so now i just let my grandson name them and never go over 4 letters mine now are Amos -Ruby-misy-Jill

My boy picks out names for all my pups. The latest pup he named was a little shy. Well we were out and he picked up some Jobo can food and wanted to feed it to the puppy so I went along with it. After the first can of JoBo the pup was never shy again so needless to say he named him JoBo. I just throw the Shadywoodz Bawlin name on whatever he picks.

OK....this is a delicate issue. This is in NO WAY meant to sound racist (although having to preface with that means it may!) I saved the June 1997 issue of "The Rabbit Hunter" magazine for the humor in the cover. Picture of the top 6 hounds at the 1997 Progressive Pack Championship. Five white guys showing legendary dogs like Brinsky's Tank, Paint Creek Dolly and Polly, Gunsmoke.....and one Black gentleman with a dog named "Ghetto Righteous Fleetwood". Again, I hope no one takes offence.....

My fav was one from UKC trial days. Whoop Ash. whoop ash said real fast is a great name. That name stuck in my head all these years!
Black Magic was another good name. I like those kind of names but for some reason one of my females came out named Fancy in Lace (her mother was fancy in red) and call name lacy.
