It has been over three weeks now with out a drop of rain. Each day, except for 3 or 4, have seen temps in the upper 90s, under a hot sun with a dry wind blowing. Pastures are drying, hay cuttings are not good with no change in sight. Things do not look good for an already very, very poor rabbit population.
Hope that Beaglers in other areas are not in this situation. Looks like I am going to need to find homes fo some well bred young Beagles.

Same on this end of the state we got a little rain the other day just enough to change the color of the road its not a good way to start the summer not to worried about the rabbit population the 25 years at my honey hole hot weather never seem to be an issue but sure to hot for me to run
